Export - United Kingdom
CATS and DOGS (UK Pet Scheme)
AQIS require that they be notified via a 'Notice of Intention' at least 10 days prior to export. In order to prepare relevant documentation AQIS must be advised at the time 'Notice of Intention' lodged that your small friend is to be exported under the PETS scheme.

NB: Once a positive blood test for rabies vaccine has been obtained, your small friend must remain in Australia for 6 months from the date the blood was taken, before travel to the United Kingdom. When scheduling your appointments you should allow for this and consider allowing for the very rare occasion of a negative blood test and re-vaccination.
