About Kristine

KristineLiving in Murrumbateman I have always lived with and around all sorts of animals and I have even been lucky enough to have had most animals at some stage in my life, from rabbits to horses. At the moment I share my house with Kel, a Kelpie, Lex, a Cat, Storm and Mo, cockatiels and I can’t forget our sheep and chickens. Like me all my small friends are avid Geelong supporters.

During my life I have lost a few small friends who meant so much to me and it was very hard. Experiencing that loss has made being able to help other small friends such a rewarding part of my job. I enjoy seeing the small friends get better and seeing their human friend so appreciative of the work we have done because their small friend means so much to them.

It is always great to see small friends come in to Small Friends Veterinary Hospital so happy to see us – how many people like to visit their doctor?  As Small Friends Veterinary Hospital is a small and intimate veterinary practice I get to know our clients and their small friends and it makes my job very personal. I see a variety of animals and breeds and each have their unique personalities and I enjoy getting to know them all. Of course working with animals you never know what will happen each day and that makes things a lot of fun.

When I am not at Small Friends Veterinary Hospital I enjoy going to concerts, playing sports, and watching the Footy (especially the Geelong matches) and I love to spend time at the coast whenever I can. I have completed Certificate 1 in Companion Animal Services, Certificate 3 in Companion Animal Services, Certificate 4 in Veterinary Nursing and I am currently studying Certificate 4 Frontline Management at CIT (Canberra Institute of Technology).
