We are open Monday – Friday 8am–6:30pm and Saturday 8:30am–1pm.
Please call 6262 2233 to make your appointment.
What to do when Small Friends Vet is closed and you need a vet? There are two options:
Call Canberra Veterinary Emergency Service (CVES) on 6225 7257. CVES is located at 21 Crinigan Circle Gungahlin.
Or
Call Animal Emergency Centre Canberra (AECC) on 6280 6344. AECC is located at 15/2 Yallourn Street Fyshwick.
Both CVES and AECC will care for your small friend whilst we are closed and refer your small friend back to Small Friends Vet when we open in the morning. Should your small friend require further treatment or overnight care, this can be provided by Small Friends Vet.
Covid19 Update
Whilst we are enacting our emergency roster for Covid19, we are unable to provide after hours care. Should your small friend be referred back to Small Friends Vet for day care after visiting an emergency hospital, you will need to return your small friend to the emergency hospital each evening that overnight care is required.
