Small Friends Veterinary Hospital has a modern fully equipped operating theatre dedicated exclusively to sterile surgical procedures. We are able to perform all general surgeries here on site. The majority of these surgeries are day-procedures and your small friend will be back home with you by the end of the day. As Dr Matt’s home is attached to the hospital, surgical cases that require overnight hospitalisation can remain at Small Friends Veterinary Hospital and do not require transfer to the Emergency Hospital.

For the very small amount of surgeries that we are not able to perform here at Small Friends Veterinary Hospital we confidently refer to specialist orthopaedic surgeons or specialist soft tissue surgeons.
