AQIS require that they be notified via a ‘Notice of Intention’ at least 10 days prior to export.
 

Appt	Time	Procedure
1	Between 1 year and 14 days prior  departure	• Microchip implantation, and  • Vaccinations administered (Cats require Feline enteritis and Cat flu; Dogs require Distemper, Hepatitis and Parvovirus) • Clinical examination, and • Health certificate issued
2	24 – 48 hours before departure	• Clinical Examination, and  • Health certificate issued
