AQIS require that they be notified via a ‘Notice of Intention’ at least 10 days prior to export.

Appt	Time	Procedure
1	At 16 days  before departure	• Microchip implantation,  • Heartworm test,  • Babesia Test, • Flea and Tick Treatment administered, and • Intestinal Wormer administered
2	Within 48 hours  of departure	• Heartworm Prevention administered, • Flea and Tick Treatment administered,  • Intestinal Wormer administered, • Travel Cage Inspection, and • Health Certificate issued

CATS

AQIS require that they be notified via a ‘Notice of Intention’ at least 10 days prior to export.

Appt	Time	Procedure
1	Between 30 and 16 days before departure	• Microchip Implantation,  • Intestinal Wormer administered, and • Flea and Tick Treatment administered
2	Within 48 hours  of departure	• Intestinal Wormer administered,  • Flea and Tick Treatment administered, • Travel Cage Inspection, and • Health Certificate issued

NB There is some flexibility with the timing of these visits for Export to New Zealand therefore if the above appointment timings do not suit your schedule please make a note of this on your export quotation submission form and a member of the Small Friends team will contact you to discuss your options.
