How did your owner decide they wanted a small friend and that you would be the right small friend for them?
Rebecca and Alex (our owners) really wanted a pet, they were arguing about either getting a dog or cat. Rebecca’s friend Emily had guinea pigs to give away so Rebecca and Alex came to look at us and had to have us!.
Where did your owner find you?
Rebecca’s friend Emily had too many guinea pigs so Emily decided to give some of our brothers and sisters away to new homes. (It was very cramped with all of us together). We were very fortunate to be chosen by Rebecca and Alex.
How did your owner choose your name?
Well, Rebecca’s friend Emily named us Chocolate and Fairy-Floss because she wanted to name us after treats.
What do you enjoy doing?
We like to walk between Rebecca’s legs, watch TV, lie on the grass, laze around and eat food.
Do you have a favourite treat, spot or toy?
Our favourite treats are lettuce and broccoli. Our favourite places are our woodland getaway inside our hutch, our pouch bag, blanket and Rebecca’s arms.
What do you think makes you so special to your owner?
Chocolate and Alex are very shy when it comes to new people but they are usually talkative when it’s just them. Rebecca and I (Fairy-Floss) usually lead the way and Chocolate and Alex follow us.
Are there any funny or interesting stories about you that you can share with us?
We are very good car travellers. We have a double story hutch and love to run up and down our ramp. Every time we see our hutch door open we run or walk to it and jump up.
The humans usually laugh at us because what we do is so interesting!
