How did your owner decide they wanted a small friend and that you would be the right small friend for them?
My sister Bella needed a small friend to play with during the day while my family was at work, so a couple of months later I arrived!
Where did your owner find you?
Bella’s interstate family told my mum about me and the rest is history…
How did your owner choose your name?
My mum always liked the name Oscar for a little kitten. Although I do have some nicknames: Oscie, Sausage, Oscarbear.
What do you enjoy doing?
I love to be in the backyard, rolling on my back in the sun and catching bugs. In winter I snuggle under the doona with my mum. I enjoy a good brush, scratches under the chin and chasing my sister around the house. My mum thinks we sound like a heard of elephants!
Do you have a favourite treat, spot or toy?
I love my dad’s lap A LOT – but only his lap because there’s more room to stretch out. I also like rubbing my face on his beard. My scratching post is THE BOMB!
What do you think makes you so special to your owner?
I’m very affectionate (but only when I feel like it) and I purr all the time.
Are there any funny or interesting stories about you that you can share with us?
I love to nibble (kiss) my mum’s earlobe, it’s very comforting. I like to go into the bathroom when someone’s using it and meow loudly for cuddles too. Sometimes I escape through the side gate because I get serious FOMO when my other cat friends are playing outside – my mum isn’t impressed!
