How did your owner decide they wanted a small friend and that you would be the right small friend for them?
After my owners lost Otto (also a Mini Schnauzer) they decided to get me (Alfred) because they really missed having a wonderful Mini Schnauzer around the house. They then decided that I needed a friend so my ‘sister’ Ruby came to live with us from the same breeder as Otto.
Where did your owner find you?
I came from Echuca and Ruby from Bega.
How did your owner choose your name?
Because of our looks! We need a name that suits a beard so ‘Alfred’ and ‘Ruby’ just seemed to fit us.
What do you enjoy doing?
We love our morning walks. Ruby does not like to sleep in but I do. After our walk, we come home and nap in the sun. We have heaps of toys too that we love to pull out and bicker over.
Do you have a favourite treat, spot or toy?
My favourite toy is an orange monster squeaky toy and Ruby loves everything. We love being thrown toys but we’re not keen to bring them back.
What do you think makes you so special to your owner?
They love us because we are so cute, have such great personalities and because we love them heaps.
Are there any funny or interesting stories about you that you can share with us?
This is not a story but we wanted to share that we have another brother and sister, Basil and Sybil. Basil and Sybil are cats, but we love them anyway (photo proof included).
